LA CANEA 1901 - 10 cent. Umberto I, cartolina postale (Filagrano C25), scritta da un brigadiere dei Carabinieri di stanza a Lacu 23/2/1901, trasportata tramite il TRAVELLING POST OFFICE n.1, bollo a losanga a punti sul fronte, fino ad Alikianos, dove venne bollata una prima volta per essere consegnata all'ufficio di Xania (La Canea) 16/2/1901, che provvide ad inoltrarla a Roma. Pur non essendo mai transitata dall'ufficio postale italiano (l'impronta del francobollo sulla cartolina non venne annullata), l'intero postale giunse comunque in Italia senza alcuna tassazione. Molto rara e di grande interesse. Allegata dettagliata descrizione storico postale.
