All'interno vi è un dettagliato testo inerente agli eventi politici messicani del tempo. Si parla del Governo Provvisorio di Benito Juarez, della rivoluzione e i movimenti militari in corso nel paese, riguardo al trattato stipulato con gli Stati Uniti.
