1854 - 20 cent. azzurro (5), APPLICATO AL CONTRARIO ED USATO ERRONEAMENTE DAL LATO GOMMATO, perfetto, su lettera, da Sordevolo, annullo di Biella 27/4/1854, a Torino. Rarità dell'emissione, del quale si conosce solo un altro caso. Questa lettera dimostra il fatto che la seconda emissione di Sardegna si prestasse a frodi postali, difficili da scoprire per il colore della carta, tant'è che fu velocemente allestita la terza emissione con carta bianca al verso per impedire eventuali riutilizzi invertiti.
