1870 - 40 cent. giallo (29b), perfetto, su lettera da Roma 8/10/1870, ultimo giorno della Giunta Provvisoria di Governo, a Besancon, in Francia, tassata perché affrancata insufficientemente. La busta venne infatti affrancata con la tariffa italiana da 40 cent., che sarebbe entrata in vigore solo dal 1°novembre successivo, anziché con quella corretta pontificia, che richiedeva 50 centesimi. Molto rare le corrispondenze per l'estero in questo periodo. A.Diena, cert. Bottacchi.
