STATI UNITI D'AMERICA 1970 - APOLLO 13 - "Houston, we have a problem" -

Cosmogramma della missione Apollo 13, affrancato con il francobollo celebrativo della missione Apollo 8, annullato due giorni dopo l’atterraggio “Ellington Air Force Base, TX 19 apr. 1970”.

Al recto compaiono le firme autografe degli astronauti: James Lovell, Fred Haise e Ken Mattingly (quest’ultimo sostituito per la missione, prima del lancio, da Jack Swigert).
Al verso dichiarazione manoscitta e firmata da J. Lovell “Flown aboard Apollo 13 in my PPK”.

Si tratta di una delle 50 buste (numero 24 di 50) trasportate nello spazio per 5 giorni e 22 ore dalla sfortunata e celebre missione “Apollo 13”, che per un guasto tecnico non riuscì ad allunare e rientrò, con diverse diffcoltà, sulla Terra.

Splendido stato di conservazione e qualità impeccabile.
